An alternative art space where like minded people from different creative fields viz. designers, writers, poets etc are welcome to come and interact with the professional visual artists in a comfortable non intimidating space over a cup of coffee or browse through it’s mini library. It is an open house.

the tile project
'the tile project' - transcultural exchange
the tile project started on 14th may 2004, and was started by the transcultural exchange. the project consists of tiles in a standard size worked on by various international artists, from nearly every corner of the globe; from seoul to berlin and new-york to sarajevo as a symbol of global cooperation and artistic innovation.
the installations are at 22 sites throughout the world. kanoria centre for arts was one of the sites and the tiles will be here for display permanently...

kala-ghoda art fest...
installations at the festival...

deviba wala taking a look into the bioscope...
we visited the bombay art society exhibition which is a part of the event; the kalaghoda festival, is held at the grounds that lie near the jehangir and museum art galleries. a whole variety of installations were on display that demonstrated the contemporary ideas and concepts.
the streets were lined with stalls showcasing art and craft. an amazing ambience and was definately worth the visit.
