Interpretations by deviba

A few lines that come to mind when i look at a painting.

Artwork has the power to stir up emotions.

Each individual has a unique view point and each will find their own interpretation !

Connecting Dots
a connection between this world and the next , if such a thing exists ...
a connection between who i am and what i used to be , if the rift is not too wide ...
a connection between a dream and it's silent death , even before it was born ...
a connection between being shut out and being let it , before my heart runs dry
a connection between life and the pain that ages us ,
a connection between being right always and being human,
a connection between bonds that tie us and a desire to be free.

to put on my plate, a life of regret.
calculations went their own way,
only help from god could save my day
they took my money in the name of interest

i feel nothing
a torrent, a copious flow of nothingness
no joy. no sadness.
no pain. nothing!
in my mind there's nothing 
in my heart there's nothing 
in my soul there's this quiet acceptance of nothing 
no wanting. no desire.
no quest. no thirst.
no yearning. no longing.
nothing !
i expect from you nothing
all that existed is today : nothing 
your proud love to me is nothing 
no regret. no celebrations.
no contentment. no ambition.
no light. no shadow.
nothing !
no tears. no smiles.
no expressions. no stories.
nothing!

    well i am....or was more like a friend of her's in mt carmel when we were in the 3rd n 4th......she left carmel aft the 5th without any notice...... rest assured i am not bluffing.....ask her if she remembers sheeba(thats me) n anu.... n i really liked ur interpretation of the eye to eye painting n d painting as well.....

    i dont know if it's flatering Devi,but i must admit that for an artist to comment good, honestly good opinion on other artist's work,he/she needs either to have the least propensity of comparision and jealousy OR needs to be the one beholding within the true unbiased love for art-coming from any precint of the existence..and i feel in my heart, you have gained a very obdurate embrace on both, the brush and the pen..God Bless..keep rising
