Ek se Anek - An Alternative Art Space Project

The exhibition is an attempt to take art from the closed enclosures of gallery to public spaces where people interact with art as part of their day to day activity. 

The theme was on subtexts o Mirror.


The show was held at Sardar center Market,Vastrapur on 13th March, 2011 from 5.30 to 10.00 pm. 

Bansri Shah installed a large stitched cloth napkin on a silver colour ring. Avni Patni gave away photographs of different parts of city on 'reflection'  to people with some texts written on them. Nisha Nair installed a  3 meter printed text as a foot mat where foot prints of people and vehicles kept falling. Narendra Raghunath installed a direct take on female foeticide by suspending six sharp knifes over a little girl doll painted by his daughter on a 3 x 3 feet wooden frame.
