for a one month Art Residency with Studio Verve.
His work Finds inspiration from Shape, Movement and Colour and Subject.

It was a pleasure to get to know him and he is quite a dedicated artist. During his tenure we met and visited the homes and studios of local artists and the resulting discussions were always very interesting. We also invited artists to the residency to come see his work.

Blaise describes his experience and work with the following lines :

There is wonder in the stars and glory in the sun.

There is life in a river and wisdom in a tree.
There is a peace in a flower and freedom in a bird.
There is healing in a song and power in a smile.
There is hope in a colour and grace in a line.
There is beauty in a question and wealth in an answer.
There is time to understand and eternity to celebrate.

“I love India because it is a land of beauty. I get Inspired by the rich colours, touching scenes and the diversity of people. My Purpose is to paint canvases that reflect the pulse of life that I can feel or see around me. If they generate any emotion that warm up the heart of the viewer my goal is reached.
Visual art not only crosses frontiers but also builds bridges between people from different cultures and generations. Pictures can speak to the soul where words sometimes don’t go.”
